Continuing to Renovate our Houseboats

As previous guests of the houseboats for years, we are passionate about these amazing waterways.

Exploring the pristine western coast of K’Gari (Fraser Island) with dolphins, dugongs, fishing & crabbing, even whales, it truly is a unique holiday experience. With local knowledge of this areas & supporting local businesses, our newly renovated “Tin Can Bay Boat Ramp Bait & Tackle” shop is here for the fishing enthusiast.

Or if you’re just here for the day, our Dinghy hire is a great way to explore & no license necessary. (Max 4 passengers)

Our waterbikes are also a huge hit. These “Human powered bikes” are perfect for 2 people (1 relaxing on the rear platform). Then swap.

Please contact Russell 24hrs ahead on: 0407 139 043

We have undergone renovations on all the Houseboats too.  With so many repeat guests, continuing to enjoy themselves. On average most spend 5-7 nights exploring & enjoying the variety of fishing & crabbing, or simply relaxing & watching our amazing sunsets…

We recommend to plan your houseboat holiday 9-12 months in advance, to avoid disappointment.

Using the houseboat as your “Basecamp”, with our tender to drop off the crab pots or to access your own beach. So many guests prefer to bring their own tinnie & explore the many creeks & tucked away, protected spots.

Our skipper with his years of experience through these waterways, has programmed various routes into our iPad navigation assistance system. So follow the line through the deep waterways & where you see the anchor icon on your screen, know you can anchor safely.

We recommend arriving early in the morning 7-11am.

We will assist you to load up your houseboat, with bait & tackle here in our shop, additional eskies & ice available too. Our skipper will take you from the dock showing you how to use the houseboat, then return back in his chase boat, allowing you the freedom to explore this area at your leisure. Finding your own piece of paradise. Then at the end of your houseboat holiday, our skipper will meet you & dock you back here again.

No boat license necessary.

Our reviews & our popularity, show how passionate we are about what we do well.
